Information we collect
We collect contact details, class selections, attendance, payment references, waiver acceptance, and an optional profile photo. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by SF Salsa Academy.
How we use it
We use this information to operate classes, process registration, manage waivers and check-in, send transactional messages, and provide student support. We do not sell student information.
Access and security
Student information is limited to authorized staff and the verified student. Email verification is required before viewing or changing a student profile. Photos are stored privately and shared through short-lived links.
Retention
Verification codes expire after 10 minutes and sessions after 45 minutes. Expired authentication records are removed regularly. Payment and waiver records are retained as needed for accounting, legal, and safety purposes; abandoned registrations and superseded photos are removed on a scheduled basis.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete your profile information, subject to records we must retain for legal or accounting reasons. Profile photos are optional.
